I received a $300 ad credit, so I figured I tried it out. I will be canceling my campaign before it's used (which won't be long). It costed me so far, $162.17 for 7 clicks and 2 fake leads, 2,300 impressions, and no sales or calls. To put that into perspective, on Google ads for the same price, I would receive over 1 million impressions, about 1,500 clicks, and probably 2 to 5 actual paying customers.
Yelp sucks for business. Yelp has absolutely no way of validating fake reviews. There is one restaurant in our area that has created multiple fake yelp profiles and are hurting other businesses. When we reported it to Yelp, they would take no action on the yelper or their review. The review was full of false claims. They require business owners to have an actual profile pic, but it's ok for yelpers to not show if they are real. It is a bit unfair for a business to be treated this way, esply. when we pay for the listing, page upgrades, ads, etc.

Pop's Garage Doors LLC. 5901 MONTROSE rd norte Bethesda, 20852Apartment *******@popsgaragedoors.comMHIC #114437
I would not recommend this place. I had them come out and fix my garage door. They should've put new hinges on. Instead they put 10 screws in one of the old out side hinges to hold it together. I don't think it's going to hold very long before it will fall apart. Then the other three hinges that were broke they took and put this bracket a crossed the three hinges to just hold the old hinges down. Then I realized they had broke five more hinges on my door that wasn't broke. I guess that happened when they open the garage door and the top two panels was just hanging by the garage door opener cause everything flew apart when they open the door. I told him not to open door because it would come apart and he did it anyway. Just like I said it came apart. So now because of what he did I have 5 more hinges broke. So they put Screws in the outside hinges that the wheel is in that rolls the garage door up. Then the other hinges they did like the panel above put the brackets Across all the old hinges and put screws all the way across my whole garage door. They used about 40 screws. Which it should've been like four screws for each new hinge. Instead they didn't put any new hinges on. They use the same old hinges. And just put that bracket on top of the old hinges to hold the old hinges down. Then put like 20 screws across the one bracket and then did the same for the other bracket Horrible job. I didn't realize what they done until after they left. So I called them back out and told them it was unacceptable. They came back out and told me it goes up and down, doesn't it. It's fixed? I told him it was going to fall apart. He said if it falls back apart we will come and fix it again. But I don't want it to fall apart. It will hit my car again. This time when it broke it put a dent in my car when the garage door fell on it. I told them I don't want it to fall apart again. Because it might damage my car. He said well if it falls apart they are not responsible if it damages my car. They just kept saying it works. They wouldn't do nothing about it. So I had to keep it that way. They charged me $465 for this awful job. No new hinges the broken hinges are still on there and they call that fixed. Look at the pictures it's a crying shame. The last picture that's the bracket that they ran across the whole garage door and put all the hinges down that was already on there. They were broke as you can see in the other picture. They put that bracket across the top the hinges and put screws all the way across my whole entire garage door. So now I've got about 40 extra holes in my garage door. People like this shouldn't even have a business. Not happy at all. I wouldn't give them no stars. But they make you give at least one. But as far as I'm concerned they get wouldn't get no stars. After writing this review company called me and threatened me. Told me I was going to be seeing him everyday and in my sleep and in my dreams. He was yelling on the phone at me and it made me feel very uncomfortable. He called me back a couple of times. I had to tell him I was gonna call the police on him to get him to stop calling me. I called the police anyway because I don't know what he's capable of and I felt threatened. I would be careful doing Business with this guy.

Complete scam, the worst on line review platform out, best part is they do not care as long as there are suckers willing to pay them.
Horrific experience with Yelp. A Yelp saleslady called me to sell me Yelp because I already have a lot of 5-star reviews on Yelp. It sounded OK -- she walked me through how to sign up (with her on the phone), at the end it came a large monthly number like $600/mo but it was supposed to be $300/mo. She said "don't pay attention to that, I'll fix it"... So I trusted her to fix it. I was expecting to pay $300/mo. This was Nov. 2020. The first bill comes and it's $550, I call both the saleslady and she said she'd "fix it" and I call Yelp Customer Service, and they said "they'd give me a credit". I told them to also wanted to cancel it because of the poor experience and no leads during the first month. Well come month two, same thing. A bill for $550, nothing was credited or 'fixed'. I called the supervisor at Customer Service and he said it was my fault for not cancelling it properly and that no credit was due and that they require a 30-day notice to cancel... Zero help for the supervisor and the salesperson. I was over billed for four months before I was able to get the stupid thing cancelled and they never gave me a credit! I spend a lot of money on advertising, and this was absolutely the worst experience with any business ever! Zero leads. Ugh, makes my skin crawl to think that they held me hostage and I had no recourse -- I had over $2k wasted with these pirates!
I just love the new consignment boutique outside of Dunes West. Jolie Luxury Consignment is a one of a kind experience that deserves a peek. Things are beautifully displayed and new items are constantly coming in on consignment. The owner Jolie and her helper, Jill, are fast becoming my friends! Love, love this place.
Me and Ed Pizza on West Shaw Fresno Ca. I ordered a medium size pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. Thank goodness I got the extra cheese or there would not have been any pizza. They had about five slices of pepperoni on the whole pizza. I called to complain and they could have cared less. What a rip off.
Yelp has broken their business policy and let things that are not in their standards to be done, further more they took money out of my account with out my permission based on a pushy sales man telling me that I had free advertising only to find I was robbed. I really don't understand why they do not up hold these standards and do what any other person off the street would do to you when you would think it was ok to trust them.
Sales guy called about a $300 promotion in advertising. Got one real lead out of it, was forced to use their in-house messaging system for the other two and wasn't able to gather their info before losing their opportunity. Cancelled the advertising in early April before my promotion ran out and was still billed for $80 because apparently they hadn't charged the full amount for that advertising period until the beginning of May. Customer service wouldn't offer any sort of refund and the sales guy never followed up like he said he would. Bad experience all around, would not recommend.
Fresh Start Movers in Rogers, AR. So this happened....I was leaving the gas station on Neighborhood Market on 8th and Walnut. There was this van, parked sideways across the one way exit leaving to go east on Walnut. I watched Other cars pull behind this van and then move to the next exit because they were just sitting there. I pulled there and gave a Short toot to wake them up, nothing. So I called the number on the back. This is where it gets weird. The guy seemed a little confused while I was explaining, but he was cracking jokes and such, like, “oh no, you didn’t toot!” I just laughed. Then he said, “We are a good company, but sometimes we get an idiot behind us.” I just chuckled and told him, the owner, I would be sure to let people know how he feels. Then right after this pic was taken, the van, in the left turn lane on Walnut to turn north on 2nd street, crossed to over the right lane in front of cars and made a right. This company may be helpful and funny, but I can tell you, their driving is not up to par.
I ordered a bouquet of flowers from Bloomex for my mothers funeral. After talking to someone online, I chose a selection from a bouquet visual online that had white, mauve and purple flowers including white roses with a dark blue vase. I also asked and paid for the supersize option to make this bigger. When the flowers arrived, they were not arranged, held with an elastic band, there were no roses, and there were no extra flowers to create a "supersize". I immediately called the company, and as this was the weekend, no one answered so I left a message to get a call back immediately. I received no call so I was forced to find a florist who could help me with an arrangement very quickly before the funeral and pay for more flowers. I called bloomex back on the day after the funeral and explained why I was unhappy with the order and wanted my money back. They asked if I had pictures so I sent them by email to them and waited for a manager to call me. They continued to tell me that the manager was busy so I left my number.
I received and email and this is what they said" Dear Gloria, we were sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with what was received. Upon having reviewed the pictures sent to us we were able to determine that the arrangement you received was in accordance with our policy. While we understand the importance of having the selected arrangement delivered as described, unfortunately, certain issues may occur in the event of stock fluctuation. The florist did maintain the style and color scheme of the arrangement. The arrangement seemed quite lovely and the flowers were fresh. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Kind regards, Bloomex Team".
I cannot find any policy that was mentioned in their response. I did however, find this on the website "Specially priced Designers Collection bouquets allow our professional, on-staff Floral Designers to work their magic and flaunt their creativity. Beautiful bouquets feature fresh cut flowers selected and creatively arranged by our Designers." This indicates as I was expecting that I would receive this already arranged as well, thus I did not. All I ask is that they refund me the money as I had to get and pay for an alternate bouquet. A funeral is hard enough without this huge disappointment and to have a company hide behind email to create what they call customer satisfaction.
I went to Pay Fair Tire to by 4 new tires. They treated me with respect. I got 4 tires, at an incredible discount. They professionaly . They were very expedient and did a fantastic job. I would recommend them to anyone including my friends.

Be brutally honest. Include examples, pictures, descriptions, names and faces. We need the full, "Monty".

Both! They know they hurt small business, forcefully add your name to their listings, don't remove negative or false reviews! Wow
They should onkyballow positive reviews, readers can judge the quality of care by looking at how many Positive reviews the business got versus how many fake or negative reviews they have accumulated which in the business world you simply cannot please everybody AND YELP KNOW THIS
For the only people that have disagreed with me so far are Yelp employees and Yelp reviewers who have been given authority to leave whatever krapp they want on anyone's business and they take advantage of it which is the most feeble thing I've ever come across in my life.

As far i can see users are allowed to go onto yelp and make reviews. Now if the reviews are turthful reviews is the question. As for the company in my personal opinion it is not beneficial to a company to spend their advertising dollars with this company. Their cost per click program does not work out at the rates that the employees sell you on. They do not guarantee sales as others do. They advertise other companies on your page in a way that leads customers away from you. In my opinion if a company pays to advertise with you then you shpould not be showing other companies information on their page anywhere. Not even as a little spot that says other customers also looked at these companies. That is stearing them away from the page they are on. Also the advertising so called budget is used up in the first 2 weeks of your month, and can be used up very quickly by competors and their employees that have mutiple ip addresses. There are com[anoes out there like FAre Harbor, Groupon, Living Social and so on that only charge you if the customer purchases the items from you. To look at a deal should be free after all they are only reading it and then yelp is also telling them to check out other companies at the same time. You don't see McDonalds telling its online guests to also check out Burger king. So yes i think yelp is a scam for business, and also a way for someone to give faults reviews about a company that are not at all easy to remove. I say as a business owner save your money and ask all of your guests to review you on google also don't promote Yelp.

Don't try to figure Yelp out... read my review, trust me! Google your business name ‘reviews'?, then do this for you too 3 - 5 competitors and see what top 5 review sites Google has in common for your businesses, then send reviews to all the sites besides Yelp. Overtime Yelp will get washed to the 2nd page of Google and you don't have to deal with their crooked custom algorithms that will just hurt your business.

By screwing up your password so you cannot give reviews!
Posted on 02/09/2020
This is because yelp does not let you post a review about its own company they do not want to hear what people tink about them. And don't want their potential advertising victims to see how they really work..
